Many custom home builders in the Indianapolis area build less than ten homes per year and no spec homes. As a result, these builders are unable to negotiate lower prices with their trades due to lack of volume. Sigma Builders is approaching the market with over 20 years of home building procurement experience with long-standing trade relationships. When this experience is combined with our guarantee of a minimum of 25 homes per year, Sigma Builders is able to deliver higher value to our customers.

Our Team Members
Dave R. Berman – Partner and Operating Officer is a graduate of Indiana State University, where he studied Construction Management and Architecture. He then attended Indiana University’s Master Program in Urban and Regional Planning. Dave has over 25 years’ experience in the home building industry and has held numerous President, VP, and Director positions throughout his career. Dave’s leadership has been responsible for building resulting in $625M in revenue across his previous positions. Dave has been recognized by Builder Magazine and Soderquist Group for his leadership and success.
Kimberly Wang – Partner and Financial Officer is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio and has over 20 years of experience managing projects and organizations within Eli Lilly and Company. During her time at Eli Lilly, Kimberly was responsible for building high-performing teams and capital budgets ranging from several million to over $150M. Kimberly’s experience in team development, organizational effectiveness, and technology implementation allows Sigma Builders to grow quickly and operate effectively and efficiently.
Doug Kelly - VP of Marketing and Sales, a Purdue graduate, comes to us with an infinite amount of expertise and knowledge. He has worked in all aspects of home building including sales management, project management, and marketing. Doug has also been a Division President for a national building company. Prior to joining team Sigma, Doug owned a successful custom home building company for five years. He has a passion for home design and is great at taking his clients wants and needs and making sure this is reflected in the design of the home. Doug is such an asset to Sigma and brings with him a very logical and consistent approach, along with a cool headed and always upbeat personality.
David May - Design and Sales has a Business Management degree from Florida State University. He has been in new home design and sales for over 20 years. David recognizes and value the trust clients place in him and strives every day to exceed their expectations. David loves coming to work and see it is an absolute honor to be in this industry, helping clients with one of the most important purchases they will ever make, a custom home. Part of David's life philosophy has been shaped by being a business owner in design/retail for over 30 years. He learned fast that customer service and standing by your word is a must. Over the years, he has gained many loyal and repeat customers. David has many interest outside of work including cars, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
David Foley - Project Manager has a degree in Construction Management and has nearly 10 years’ experience in home construction. David’s passion for the building industry started when he was a child, as his grandfather owned a large sawmill in southern Indiana. That passion continued in high school & college where David worked alongside different contractors learning the trade. His favorite part of building is being able to make our homeowners dreams become reality. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two precious daughters. He loves shooting sports, and spending time with his family at the family lake house in northern Indiana.
Mike Siebert - Project Manager comes to us with over 30 years of experience building and remodeling residential custom homes in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Mike has extensive knowledge in architecture, design, and complex building concepts. He previously owned and operated his own custom home and remodeling business for over 20 years before bringing his wealth of talents to Sigma. He is married with 1 child and enjoys fishing and travel. We're very excited to have Mike share his outstanding abilities with our homeowners to help them build their dream home.
Kevin Petrites - Project Manager is a graduate of Ball State University and has over 10 years of experience in residential construction management. He also has an array of experience within other aspects of the construction industry, including extensive experience with commercial and residential estimating. His passion lies in the homebuilding industry, particularly in helping people see their dream homes to fruition. Kevin's hobbies include home improvement projects, spending time with family and friends, and cheering his children on in their many activities.
Mark Berman - Project Manager is a graduate of Ball State University who has over 25 years of building management experience. Within that span of time, Mark has traversed the industry beginning with residential home building in the Indianapolis area, transitioning to industrial building nationally and back home again to residential building. It has been and continues to be Marks greatest pleasure to work with home buyers directly, doing his part to make the vision for their homes a reality and a positive building experience. His thoughtfulness and dedication is much appreciated by his co-workers and the families who work with him.
Stephanie Wiott - Interior Designer has a degree in Interior Design and over 20 years experience in residential and commercial design. Her passion in design was strengthened early on by working in her family's successful Chicago area Design/ Build firm. She has vast experience in new construction, having worked in the Chicago and Indianapolis markets with multiple builders. Stephanie also owns Cupboards Design Group, opened in 2008, that focuses on large scale home renovations. Other than design, one of Stephanie's many strengths is her ability to work well with others and share and exchange ideas. She does that beautifully with clients which makes the end result remarkable! In her spare time Stephanie loves to socialize and host gettogethers with family and friends.
Meg Douglas- Interior Designer is a recent graduate from Purdue University with a bachelor’s of science in Interior Design Technology. We first met Meg when she applied and was accepted into an internship with Stephanie Wiott Designs her senior year of college. During this time she saw and helped many of Sigma clients make selections for their homes. Meg really impressed with her knowledge and skills, and was asked to join our team as full time upon graduation. Her passion for interior design started at a young age when her grandmother showed her the ropes of her own design business. When Meg is not at work you can find me in the kitchen baking new recipes.
Spencer Davis - Costing Manager is a graduate of Indiana State University, where he studied Communications, Business administration, and Accounting. Spencer has over 20 years’ experience in the home building industry. He is very much a roll up your sleeves, jump in, and just do it, type. His dedication and focused approach is appreciated by everyone as it helps with making timely decisions and moving forward on construction projects. Outside of work, Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. He loves spending his free time playing as much golf as possible.
Elizabeth Cobb - Costing Associate comes to Sigma Builders with a lifelong love for the construction industry. With a family background in construction, Lizz has gained most of knowledge from in the field experience. She brings to the team a wide assortment of skills in everything from pricing to processes. Alongside working in the estimating department, she strives to support the entire team internally with the customer experience in mind.
Lisa Masuoka - Social Media Specialist, Marketing and Sales has a graduate degree from the University of Alabama. She has over 20 years of work experience in banking, loan institutions and many years working in Case Management. Her last position was at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Lisa loves working in a team setting and is trained to be Client-centric with her Social Service degree. Her communication, assessment and problem solving skills coupled with her friendliness and sincerity make her a great asset to Sigma Builders.
Rose Bozek - Client Coordinator brings a vast and diverse knowledge base with her to Sigma Builders. She holds several degrees from Ontario College. Rose has extensive business experience working with finances at various companies. Before moving to the US from Canada, Rose worked in Education and taught school for five years. Since moving to the US, Rose has obtained her real estate license. In addition to this Rose and her husband are “do it yourself” types which has helped her acquire lots of knowledge that relates to the home building industry.
Alison Obermeyer – Interior Design and Sales is a graduate from Purdue University. She has worked as a designer in residential construction, remodeling, and commercial design. She has a variety of experience including drafting, print review, space planning, finish selections and furniture. Her passion for design began at a young age. As a child, she would tear out pages from House Beautiful and Architectural Digest magazines for ideas and inspiration for her hand drawn floor plans. Alison truly enjoys working with clients to uncover how to best design a home to meet the client’s individual lifestyle. Aside from design, Alison enjoys spending time with animals and being outside as much as possible. Her favorite place in the summer would be her family’s lake home. Sigma is very excited to have Alison as part of our team.
Kirstin Lenhart - Professional Home Design Specialist is very experienced and has worked as a residential home designer and draftsperson for over 20 years. She is well versed in architectural styles including Craftsman, Contemporary, Colonial, Victorian, Farmhouse, and more. Kirstin thrives when working as part of a team and enjoys sharing her ideas along with listening to input from her clients and co-workers. She is always eager to participate in design sessions and she loves to interact with client to make sure she understands their specific design style. Kirstin gains a lot of personal satisfaction knowing she helps clients design their dream home and enjoys seeing it come to fruition.
Kristen McConnell – Office management is a graduate of Purdue University. Kristen is an asset as she manages our office with calm and precision. She has years of experience in banking, collections, and overseeing a large property management company. Kristen is great at problem solving and is very leveled headed in all situations. She is team oriented and gets along well with everyone she meets. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and son on their small hobby farm. Kristen enjoys gardening, raising chickens, and just being outdoors. We are very happy to have Kristen join Sigma Builders and to have her organize and manage the day to day activities around the office.
