Phase 1

Initial Meeting and Planning

Welcome to the Sigma family. We learn about your lifestyle needs, vision, and budget and introduce you to our customer-centric approach to luxury home building. We encourage you to bring pictures, electronic idea books, and inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest. Whether you’ve acquired a homesite or wish to choose a lot owned by Sigma, we are happy to schedule site visits. Our preferred lenders are available to meet your financing needs if necessary.

Phase 2

Home Design, Pricing + Contract

We offer a complete in-house design-build service or can work from a third-party set of plans.

At the end of this phase, we will define your lot-specific architectural plan for your unique new home using interactive 3D technology. We will also have pricing complete to meet your desired budget.  

Phase 3

Prestart Activities

With your signed contract, the plans are converted to construction drawings, and approvals are received. A thorough plan review and sign-off are completed to ensure the plan completely captures your vision for your new home.

Our customer liaison and designer work closely with you to define the many details (selections) of your home. All information related to your home is accessible to you 24/7 via your customer portal.

Phase 4

Construction

Our construction team meets with you before sharing the construction schedule and maintains strong communication throughout the build process, including weekly updates on your new home’s progress.

Phase 5

Welcome Home

Your dream home is ready for you to move in, experience all its comforts, and create lasting memories.

We offer peace of mind with a 2-4-10 Year Extended Warranty that protects your home.

How long does it take to build a custom home?

The time it takes to build a home varies based on the size, location, and finishes. On average, our custom homes take about 12-14 months from the start of construction through final inspections. We also offer options for homeowners who want to move faster, such as in-progress builds and model homes. Check out our available lots and homes to see what we have to offer.

How can I stay up to date with the progress being made on my home?

We use BuilderTrend, an online service that lets you communicate with the team building your home. You’ll be able to see updated timelines, track spending, see progress pictures, and send messages to your team. If you’re already a client, you can login to BuilderTrend here.

What warranty do you offer for new homes?

Every Sigma Builders new home comes with a 2-10 New Home Warranty from Residential Warranty Company (RWC). Our limited warranty is also transferable to a new owner if you sell your home during the ten year term of the warranty.

How can I finance my custom home?

After over 20 years in the business, we have great relationships with lenders that can help you with a loan to finance your new home. You are also welcome to acquire financing from an institution of your choice.
